This is Öland's smallest ancient ringfort. It is located in a cultivated area about 200 m east of Lundegård. It constitutes an irregular round wall demolished almost to ground level with the largest internal dimension of 54 m. Access takes place through a probably secondary opening in the western part of the wall. The castle site has been cultivated.
The ringforts on Öland are traditionally dated to the time of migration (400-550 AD). Today it is known that many are built earlier than that. They were built as a defense in external attacks, but several have also served as trading posts.
