Klädstenen

'Klädstenen' stands at Lyckebäck along the road just north of Böda towards the northern cape. On the stone is the text: 1/4 / SIAS / 53 / AFN / SSS.

Every year as far back as one can remember, the stone is crowned by the confirmands from Torp. It is said that someone has died at this place before.

An older name for the stone is "Mittmillesten", ie the place is located between Torp and Böda.

Another name is "Likesten". In the event of death in Torp or Grankulla and other villages in the northern part of the parish, the coffin with the dead was always carried from the village to the church at Böda. They then always put down the coffin and rested at the "Likestenen" before continuing. The nearby stream was called Likebäck, now changed to Lyckebäck, which is still the name of the farms north of the stone.

It is probably a road division sign, ie a marking where it began or ended a responsibility for a landowner to maintain the road in older times.
